Keney Park Family Day Festival

Mission:

Increase knowledge of computer structure & operation by families in the inner city.

Goal:

To educate the family on basic multi-media and Internet use, plus provide new hardware and software to the family unit.

• Objective 1: Learn the components of a PC
• Objective 2: Provide Instruction on how to build a unit
• Objective 3: Instructors works with youth teaching them how to build their own unit.
• Objective 4: Evaluation & The Check out (Instructor inspects unit with child & they complete a survey)

Program Objectives:

Refurbish 5-10 donated computers.

Build 2 new Computers during the festival & supply each raffle winner with a refurbished unit for their home.
